Financial Peace University (FPU) is a nine-lesson class that will teach you how to pay off debt, save, and invest for your future. You’ll also connect with others, just like you who can hold you accountable, encourage you, and celebrate your progress!

The next Financial Peace University is July 8 - September 2, and will meet in-person on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM.

Financial Peace University at New Life Ministries is located at 2800 McKinney Blvd, Colonial Beach, VA 22443.

Financial Peace University is made up of nine video lessons. Classes meet together to watch and discuss the video lessons for about two hours once a week for nine weeks. Classes begin with watching a video lesson taught by Ramsey Personalities - Dave Ramsey, Rachel Cruze, and/or Chris Hogan. After the lesson, our Financial Peace University Coordinators will lead a group discussion so you can reflect on what you're learning, ask questions, and encourage and celebrate others.

A $20 minimum deposit is required at the time of registration. Full amount is due at the first class on 7/8, and can be paid online or by cash or check.

What we love most about FPU is how much it has strengthened our relationship. Since FPU, we are always on the same page when it comes to money, and any financial disagreements are quickly resolved because of the things we have learned. The two most important skills we gained are: (1) creating a monthly budget and (2) saving up for big expenses so you can avoid borrowing money.

The great thing about this class is, you won’t be alone in your journey to financial peace! We will watch each lesson as a group, and then discuss afterwards to peel back what we’ve learned together. You can feel comfortable discussing money matters because anything shared with the group won't be shared with anyone else.

Before you sign up, remember this: Don’t be "Ish"! This program only works if you put your all into it. If you want it to work in your life, you cannot follow the "Dave-ish" plan (a mix of your ideas and Dave’s ideas). His plan has worked for millions of people to ditch debt, including us! When you decide you want a change, you must submit yourself to the plan! By the end of the nine weeks, you’ll be prepared with the tools necessary to work towards financial peace in your own life!
